ARCHITECTURE & LOCAL CRAFTSMANSHIP

The resort is discreetly located on a slope with a view of Tinos town and Mykonos and has a village character. It was built according to traditional building methods and mainly local materials.

The objective was for the buildings to have the smallest possible impact on the land and the landscape through aesthetic choices, sustainable design and construction methods which would permit nature to partially reclaim it.

The building of terraces on Tinos was and is still essential to make the island agriculturally usable. Buildings such as the Kynara Boutique Village can use and promote this craft by building more than 1500 meters of walls by hand over the course of months. Stones from its own property were used for all work on the surrounding area.
